When Setup and non-setup objects are used in the same transaction for DML operation, we get this error.

This is mainly because setup objects are used for the access levels of the non-setup object records.

If we are modifying a user role and account in the same transaction we get this error.

Component Events:

The way of communication between the same component or the component in the hierarchy.

The sequence of component event propagation:

Event fired
Capture phase - the event is navigated from root component to source(Component that fired the event)
Bubble phase - the event is navigated from the source component to the root container.
The event can be stopped at any component by calling stopPropogation().

Application Events:

The way of communication between the same component or the component in the hierarchy in a traditional publish-subscribe model. All components that provide a handler for the event are notified.

The sequence of Application event propagation:

Event fired
Capture phase - the event is navigated from root component to source(Component that fired the event)
Bubble phase - the event is navigated from the source component to the root container.
The event can be stopped at any component by calling stopPropogation().

event.getSource() helps you determine which component fired an event. Same can be achieved by event.target for DOM elements

ex: event.getSource().get("v.name")

ex: var el = event.target;

event.getParam("value") helps getting the parameter values passed in the event

Publishing:

1. Create a record in platform event object ( newPEvent__e) using the following:

a. Process (Process Builder)

b. Flows

c. Apex

i. Ex:

newPEvent__e ne = new Low_Ink__e(field__c='XZO-5');

EventBus.publish(ne);

Subscribe:

1. External system subscribes, and listens to the latest event records.

a. Use CometD to subscribe to platform events.

b. We can also use EMP Connector

Integration from External client to Salesforce

Publishing:

1. Create a record in platform event object ( newPEvent__e) using api from any of the external client.

Enabling suveys for external users without login

Read

Step 1. Enable Communities.

Step 2. Create a public access community.

Step 3. Go to guest user profile on the community, set full access levels for "Survey, Survey responses, Survey Invitations, Survey Subjects"

Step 3. Enable Surveys.

Step 4. Select the default community(created in step 2) for creating public survey invitations.

Step 5. While sending the survey link, select "Participants Outside Your Company" tab.

Step 6. Enable "Don't require authentication" check box.

Step 7. Copy the link to send to external people.
